Salman Khan is ready to hold the first formal exhibition of his 20 paintings.
Salman Khan may hold the first formal exhibition of his paintings soon. His father Salim Khan has been insisting that he exhibit his works. Now, the actor is ready with 20 paintings.
In an earlier interview to NT, Salim Khan had said, "He (Salman) is genuinely talented, but he is too shy to talk about his talent.

Someone should push him to talk about it, so that people also come to know about his other interests in life."
Proceeds from the sale of his works will go for charity. Recently, Salman Khan also gave few of his paintings to an NGO headed by Ramola Bachchan. Later, these paintings were sold and money earned from this was given to the NGO.
However, one of Salman's favourite paintings did not fetch the expected price and he withdrew it from the auction. Now, the actor has completed few more paintings. All these will be exhibited soon. "Salman doesn't need money; he loves to help senior citizens and kids in the society. He is very emotional and feels for people who don't have anyone to look after them. The money from this auction will be donated to a particular organisation," says a close friend of Sallu.

What started as a casual hobby, has become a serious passion for Salman now. Our source says, "Salmanbhai has his paintings all over his house. We don't get to see them because most of them are kept covered."
To hone his skills, Salman has been taking help from 26-year-old Nilesh Vede, an art student. "Salman met Vede through a family friend, and he was very impressed with Vede's painting on Buddha. Nilesh calls him Salman Sir, and Salman, in his turn, teases him by calling him Nilesh Sir," says our source."
